Looks like some people at Puma were thinking the same thing and just released the Puma 917 for Spring 2010, inspired by the old rihanna puma school console video games.Seen here in a low and a mid, the sneakers all sport colorful 8-bit graphic patterns that match some of our most beloved video games. The low and the mid are available in three colorways, though the mids sport a 8-bit brick background. In addition, all three pairs sit on a white vulcanized sole that is layered with a bit of extra sole on the rear. Maybe Mario would have always landed on the top of the flag had he been rocking these. They will be available at ASOS from the beginning of May.

The latest to hit the web is hte PUMA 917 Mid Mame.Set in a canvas upper, the colorway, though focused in blue and white, is extended in the entire color spectrum through leather pieces on the toe and on the ankle strap. The canvas uses a printed bird design and the lining is left as a solid white. They are available now at select PUMA retailers.

The hightop design sports a simple design, consisting of a white leather upper along with perforations on the toe, tongue, and shoe lacing tabs, which allow for ventilation. A green hue is used to accent the shoe, and is seen on places such as the Puma stripes, heel, shoe laces, and lacing eyelets. These make a great pair for the upcoming Spring season, and are available now from select Puma retailers for approximately $65.
